The Monument dedicated to the Fallen and Missing Persons of the community is located in the centre of the village, in front of the new church of the village.

The fallen of the community are Andreas Violaris and Michalakis Tyrimos, whereas the missing persons are Nicodemos Charalambous, Nicolas Violaris, Costas Charalambous and Demetrakis Thoma.

It is a large and very impressive monument, which is expected to be completed within the year 2009. The architect of the Monument is Andreas Mouhtaris.

The unveiling ceremony of the Monument was conducted by the former president of the Republic of Cyprus Mr Tasos Papadopoulos.

The official memorial of the fallen and the prayer for the finding of the Missing persons has been established and is conducted on the last Sunday of July each year.
